Gary Callahan

Gary Callahan is a singer, songwriter and musician who hails from Corner Brook, NL. Gary first learned to play the accordion at age 5 and guitar at 14. By 15 he was performing in local clubs. At the tender age of 17 he took his musical styings to Alberta, where he toured the province with various partners over a span of 10 years before returning home. For the next 20 years he continued his career touring Newfoundland. He started a children’s musical act with his two young daughters, Kacie and Danielle, performing at many venues over the years. Gary recorded two albums, one, a Country/Bluegrass called After the Rain and the other, a Historical album based on the book by Cassie Brown, Death on the Ice.
