Jerome Jesseau grew up in Grand Falls-Windsor. He is a retired teacher who spent most of his career in Corner Brook, where he still resides, with his wife Jane (Dove) Jesseau. They spend 3-4 months a year at their 100-year-old house in Woody Point.
When retirement from teaching was approaching, he began to wonder about developing a writing project. A friend suggested that his old neighbour, Wilfred Osmond, might be a good source of ideas. Thus began a year’s-long project, which resulted in his first published book, Running Before the Wind.
