Dianne Burden and Susan Reid are both living in Norris Point; Dianne being a local girl, and Susan moving here from Halifax in the early 1980’s. When the two became neighbors in 1986 they began singing together in their local church and in various concerts and special local events. Both have a long history of playing and singing, with Dianne playing guitar and Susan, the Omnichord. The girls have written their own songs for family and friends over the years and were privileged, in 1993, to compose a song titled “It should not hurt to be a child” which was used by the Working Group on Child Sexual Abuse, during the International Year of the Child. They have taken part in most gospel nights during TTT and are looking forward to singing again this year.
