Tony Berger has been a part-time resident of Bonne Bay on and off since the 1940s, when he spent summers at Killdevil Lodge in Lomond. A retired earth scientist, he now commutes between Nova Scotia and Woody Point, where he is working with others to set up an archives on the history of Bonne Bay. He is author of “The Good and
Beautiful Bay: A History of Bonne Bay to Confederation and a Little Beyond” and “No Place for a Woman: The Life and Newfoundland Stories of Ella Manuel.”
