Kitchinparti performs upbeat, party oriented tunes with an easy-going atmosphere. Their setlist is full of fun staples, as well as fresh new originals (with over 200,000 streams on Spotify and Apple Music). Kitchinparti is comprised of Tyler Humber (Vocals and Guitar), Justin Hickey (Bass, Vocals and Guitar) and Terri Lynn Humber (Vocals and Tin Whistle).
Tyler is an ‘Applied Music’ program graduate from College of the North Atlantic, Justin plays bass for the legendary Newfoundland folk group “The Irish Descendants”, and Terri Lynn is a music teacher who has accompanied multiple musical acts including Owen Mac.They have had ample experience playing for live crowds in the downtown scene of St. John’s, regularly performing multiple times a week. They’ve sold out several shows alongside ‘Shanneyganock’, ‘The Irish Descendants’, and ‘The Navigators’. As well as garnered a following of over 3100 people on facebook during the COVID-19 pandemic through their weekly livestream series, at times reaching over 32,000 views.
Kitchinparti’s main goal is to breathe new life into the Irish Newfoundland music scene with upbeat takes on traditional songs as well as new originals that hit home the same way the tunes of old do.
